BJB Contractors Ltd offers plant and machinery hire across Hereford, Herefordshire and Shropshire, available with or without an operator, backed by 20 years of experience running this equipment ourselves on our own groundworks and fencing projects. We’ve supplied plant for jobs as short as a single day’s excavation and as long as multi-month projects needing continuous machine support, and the machine gets the same level of maintenance and care before it goes out either way.

What’s In Our Fleet

Our fleet includes excavators from 1.8 to 15 tonnes, dumpers, rollers, post-knockers and robotic flail mowers. Machines can be hired standalone or as part of a wider groundworks or fencing project, with our own NRSWA-accredited operators available where needed, so you get the right machine and the right person together rather than having to source them separately. Because we maintain our own fleet, you’re getting equipment we rely on ourselves, not machinery hired in from a third party.  Available When You Need It

Short-term hire for one task, or ongoing plant support for a longer project – either way, our equipment is well maintained and ready to go, and we’ll help you work out which machine actually suits the job if you’re not sure. We can also arrange hire around a wider groundworks or fencing project we’re already running for you, so machinery turns up exactly when it’s needed rather than sitting idle on site. We can also offer flexible hire periods, extending or shortening notice as your project’s timeline changes, rather than locking you into a fixed term, and we’ll always let you know in good time if a machine needs to come back for scheduled maintenance, and we can arrange a swap if a longer job means a machine is due a service partway through hire.
